Strike continues at Megasider as talks fail again
The workforce at Spanish longs producer Megasider’s plant in Zaragoza has decided to continue strikes of two hours per day at least until November. A meeting with management was held last week after three months of talks but negotiations to resolve the ongoing labour issues have not been successful, Kallanish learns from sources. Local unions have also called for a demonstration on 27 September.
