Stelco’s Q4 shipments take a hit
Unplanned outages at its hot strip mill, combined with logistical challenges and Covid-19 related delays, resulted in lower than anticipated fourth quarter shipments for Canadian flat rolled producer Stelco.
The company is reporting 625,000 short tons of steel shipments during Q4, notably lower than its previous expectations of 675,000-680,000 st.
