Steel use in tall buildings reduces says CTBUH
The volumes of steel used in the construction of skyscrapers (buildings over 200 metres tall) has been falling consistently during the last three decades. The use of concrete and other compositve materials meanwhile has increased says Dario Trabucco, researcher from the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) of Chicago.
