Steel production continues to fall on-year in Argentina
Crude steel production in Argentina fell heavily year-on-year in July according to the country’s steel producers association Cámara Argentina del Acero. Primary iron output also plunged, as did the production of hot rolled steel products. Cold rolled steel output also fell on-year but at a much slower rate and actually strengthened month-on-month, Kallanish notes.
