NioCorp inks ferroniobium deal with US steel producer
An unnamed US-based steel producer has signed a non-binding letter of intent to purchase up to 25% of ferroniobium production over the next 10 years from NioCorp's Elk Creek Project in Nebraska, Kallanish reports.
Prior to this deal, Niocorp had previously agreed to sell 50% of ferroniobium production to ThyssenKrupp for the first 10 years of operation, with an additional 25% going to CMC Cometals.
