Steel futures turn down
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures turned to fall rapidly on Tuesday and even touched levels below those seen in the last week of September, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded January 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 101/tonne lower than Monday at CNY 3,774/t ($526/t), while the same contract for HRC lost CNY 104/t to CNY 3,782/t.
