Steel futures tumble on SHFE announcement
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures were stable on Wednesday morning, but then fell rapidly after the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stated it would introduce “zero-tolerance” measures to curb unreasonable price fluctuations, Kallanish notes.
