Steel futures stay put as market remains quiet
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures stayed put on Tuesday after few days of losses, amid a very quiet market, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded January 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 3/tonne higher than Monday at CNY 3,678/t ($510/t), while the same contract for HRC gained CNY 2/t to CNY 3,690/t.
