Steel futures stabilise after continuous gains
After five consecutive days of gains, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures stabilised on Tuesday in a quiet market, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded January 2024 rebar contract closed CNY 7/t lower than Monday at CNY 3,733/t ($509/t), and the same contract for HRC lost CNY 7/t to CNY 3,849/t.
