Steel futures slide as Baosteel cuts July HRC
Chinese steel futures prices slipped on Monday. Baosteel meanwhile set the mood by cutting its July hot rolled coil list prices, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the October rebar contract closed at CNY 3,717/tonne ($538/t), CNY 20/t lower than last Thursday, while the same contract for hot rolled coil closed down CNY 21/t at CNY 3,576/t.
