Steel futures rebound amid influx of funds

Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures rebounded on Wednesday as the market gradually digested the previous day’s rumours of export restrictions, Kallanish notes. On 17 March on the Shanghai Futures Exchange, May 2021 rebar futures closed CNY 84/tonne higher than Tuesday at CNY 4,785/t ($736/t).
