Steel futures keep rising on demand
Supported by rising raw materials prices and a rebound in steel demand, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures continued to increase on Tuesday, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the October rebar contract closed CNY 82/tonne higher than Monday at CNY 5,304/t ($820/t), and the same contract for HRC closed up CNY 110/t at CNY 5,604/t.
