Steel futures fluctuate again amid production cuts
After a two-day slump and rebound caused by games between bulls and bears, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures stabilised again on Tuesday to wait for new market changes, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2022 rebar contract closed CNY 6/t lower than Monday at CNY 3,774/t ($561/t), and the same contract for HRC closed down CNY 30/t at CNY 3,755/t.
