Steel futures fall on supply pressure concerns
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures continued to fall on Tuesday. Limited demand led to a fall in trading confidence, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the May 2022 rebar contract closed CNY 2/tonne lower than the previous day at CNY 4,473/t ($702/t), while the same contract for HRC closed down CNY 27/t at CNY 4,599/t.
