Steel futures fall despite production restrictions

Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures continued to fall slowly on Monday from recent eight-month highs. This was despite mine safety investigations that were supporting coking coal and coke prices, and production restrictions in Tangshan, Kallanish notes.
