Steel futures embrace volatility after consecutive gains
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures entered a volatile period without further support on Monday, following several consecutive days of gains, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2022 rebar contract closed CNY 38/tonne lower than Friday at CNY 4,750/t ($715/t), and the same contract for HRC closed down CNY 34/t at CNY 4,845/t.
