Steel futures embrace November with little gains
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures on Wednesday fluctuated at higher levels compared with Tuesday, and data suggest that daily construction steel transaction volumes have fluctuated violently so far this week, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded January 2024 rebar contract closed CNY 16/t higher than Tuesday at CNY 3,749/t ($514/t), and the same contract for HRC gained CNY 16/t to CNY 3,865/t.
