Steel futures register slight rebound
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures fluctuated amid a quiet market and then finally showed a slight rebound on Tuesday, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the January 2022 rebar contract closed CNY 17/tonne higher than Monday at CNY 5,345/t ($825/t). The same contract for HRC replaced October 2021 as the most traded contract and closed up CNY 41/t at CNY 5,670/t.
