Steel futures rebound after panic subsides
After panic gradually subsided in the market late last week, Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures continued to correct higher slightly on Monday, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange the October rebar contract closed CNY 94/tonne higher than on Friday at CNY 5,027/t ($788/t), and the same contract for HRC closed up CNY 26/t at CNY 5,354/t.
