Steel firms disappoint in Deloitte's CE companies ranking
Most steel companies in Deloitte’s 2016 ranking of the 500 largest companies in Central Europe and Ukraine registered a decline in revenue compared to the previous year. The ranking positions firms by 2015 revenue.
Ukraine’s Metinvest was the top-ranked steelmaker, although it fell to 13 from 6 last year, with revenue of $6.11 billion, a decline of -22% on-year (see Kallanish 13 September). It recorded a net loss of $897 million.
