Steel, containers boost Port of Houston volume
Steel and containerised cargo pushed the Port of Houston’s volumes up 9% this year through November, Kallanish learns from a port release.
The total volume handled by the port through November was 35 million short tons.
Containerised cargo accounted for 2.4m st, up 14% from last year.
