Steel breathes as inventories, output fall
Chinese steel futures prices were relatively steady on Tuesday after their sharp decline on Monday. Falling steel market inventories show that steel production is finally slowing down and this could help support steel prices relative to iron ore in the coming weeks, Kallanish notes.
