Star Steel tests market with new sections
United Arab Emirates-based re-roller Star Steel has launched production of 200mm IPE/UB sections to test demand in the local market, a company source tells Kallanish.
The Sharjah-based firm has a 240,000 tonnes/year sections mill, which produces IPEs, HEA/HEBs and UPN/UPEs. This puts it in completion with UAE heavyweight Emirates Steel.
