Stanmore expands coal plant for Isaac Downs ramp-up
Stanmore Coal has approved a AUD$7 million ($5m) investment into increasing its coal handling, processing and preparation (CHPP) plant capacity from 500 tonnes to 600 t/hour of ROM feed. This will provide a capacity of over 4 million t/y of ROM to support rapid coal uncovery by transitioning the dragline to Isaac Downs where it will operate at strip ratios substantially lower than at Isaac Plains East.
