Stanmore acquires remainder of MetRes JV
Australian coal miner Stanmore Resources has acquired the remaining 50% interest in the MetRes JV, which owns the Millennium and Mavis Downs Mines located in Australia, resulting in Stanmore’s 100% ownership of these projects, Kallanish notes.
Stanmore says in a statement that the acquisition results in MetRes becoming part of its consolidated group and will add additional coal volumes to its consolidated portfolio.
