Stalprofil sees pipelines, infrastructure investment lifting Polish consumption

Stalprofil forecasts a positive 2018 for Polish steel consumption thanks to growth in investments into gas pipelines, and road and rail construction. In Stalprofil’s trading and processing segment, steel product shipments grew 16% on-year in 2017 to 212,296 tonnes, while steel structures deliveries rose 43% to 2,700t.
