Stalprodukt sees Covid-19-induced order reduction hampering income
Stalprodukt foresees a reduction in orders on account of the Covid-19 pandemic leading to a -20% decline in revenue. The negative impact of the pandemic is likely to extend at least through the second quarter.
The pandemic has so far had no impact on the Polish firm’s production as it sources hot rolled coil feedstock from local producer ArcelorMittal Poland. However, it has registered a higher level of absenteeism among workers.
