European stainless tube prices to rise
European stainless tube prices are seen increasing by €100/tonne ($110/t) in the coming weeks, both distributors and a Southern European re-roller confirm to Kallanish.
This is due to higher alloy surcharges, especially for nickel, which are increasing costs (and therefore prices) for stainless coil producers.
