Stainless tubes may rebound
European stainless decoration and corrosion tube prices have reached rock bottom and will not lower further, re-rollers tell Kallanish. This is confirmed by distributors.
Last month prices lost €100/tonne ($112.3/t) on average depending on product. This was in line with the downturn in finished stainless steel products in Europe for which prices are not increasing despite the higher alloy surcharges and increasing nickel prices.
