European stainless tube producers hike September base prices
Some European stainless steel tube makers are further hiking base prices in September after a solid string of increases seen in Europe for stainless decoration and corrosion tubes since January.
September discounts in Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Benelux are decreasing by 2/3 points. Each point equals to €10/tonne therefore both corrosion and decoration tube prices are going to recover another €20-30/t ($22.4-33.6/t), sources suggest.
