Stainless pipe duties face US review
The US is set to begin a sunset review of import duties on stainless steel pressure pipe from India. Sunset reviews are required by law every five years, Kallanish notes.
In this first sunset review, the US Department of Commerce will investigate whether revoking the duties would be likely to lead to the return of dumping and subsidies. The International Trade Commission will also review the duties to determine if removing them would injure the domestic industry.
