Stainless flats to increase, tubes stable
December will not bring any further base price increases for stainless decoration and corrosion tubes. This month’s quotations are stable on November despite alloy surcharges increasing for all stainless products, Kallanish learns from a southern European producer.
Flat product spot prices in Europe are rising in December compared to November but will increase more pronouncedly in January due to the higher nickel and ferrochrome quotations.
