Stainless flats demand to improve in first quarter
European stainless steel flat products demand is forecast to pick up in the first quarter of next year after sluggishness persists in Q4.
Demand is now slow in both northern and southern Europe, with service centres and customers in wait-and-see mode. Stocks for flat products are said to be medium-high in northern Europe and also in Italy and Spain.
