Hong Kong sale fails to lift Turkish rebar
Turkish rebar producers are facing low demand in both domestic and export markets, while buyers of rebar are delaying their purchases in expectation of lower prices.
Although most Turkish mills have further lowered their quotes, buyers are insisting on much lower prices at below $400/tonne fob Turkey actual weight. Mills’ quotes, on the other hand, stand mostly at $410/t fob, although offers at $405/t fob are also available from some producers.
