Stagnant demand, billet challenge Turkish merchant bar producers
Turkish merchant bar producers faced stagnant demand last week amid the holidays and Turkey’s lower-priced billet bookings.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $610-630/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bar and IPE sections.
