SSP halts medium pipe production line for maintenance
Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP) has stopped a medium-diameter pipe production line for a scheduled maintenance on 27 September. Production will be restarted on 1 November, Kallanish learns from the pipe maker.
The production halt will lead to a decline in SSP’s sales and thus to a fall in its fourth-quarter earnings by some SAR 3 million ($800,000), the company says in a bourse filing.
