SSP grows sales, Global Pipe helps narrow loss
Saudi Steel Pipe (SSP) increased revenue 4% on-year in the second quarter to SAR 161.8 million ($43.1m) and net loss narrowed 72% to SAR 10.2m, Kallanish notes.
Loss narrowed thanks to reduced sales, marketing and distribution expenses, as well as improved performance at large-diameter pipemaker affiliate Global Pipe Company (GPC), among other factors.
