SSMI purchases solar power for steelmaking

Sanyo Special Steel Manufacturing India Private Limited (SSMI), an India-based subsidiary of Japan's Sanyo Special Steel, has reached a purchase agreement for solar power from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power.
