SSC Fischer Stahl commissions new cutting line
Fischer Stahl, a steel service centre in Germany’s Siegerland region, has invested in a new cut-to length line, Kallanish hears from the company.
The new line is designed for widths of up to 1,650mm, and thicknesses of 0.5-5mm, at a maximum running speed of 40 metres per minute. It can handle coils of up to 15 tonnes weight. It was supplied by plant-builder Burghardt+Schmidt through its subsidiaries Schnutz and Delta.
