SSAB supplies plate for record UAE bridge

SSAB Poland-based customer ViaCon has produced the corrugated steel plate used to build a bridge in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The bridge span, measuring 32.39m, has been designated by the Guinness World Records book as “…the largest metal buried bridge span.” SSAB’s S500MC steel was used as the basic material to make the corrugated plate at the ViaCon factory in Rydzyna, Poland.
