SSAB Europe halts Raahe furnace for maintenance
SSAB has announced that it will halt output at blast furnace number 2 in Raahe, Finland, for a period of eight weeks. This is to allow the steelmaker to carry out repairs and maintainance work at a cost of some SEK 200 million ($228m), Kallanish learns from the company.
