SSAB raises US plate prices
SSAB Americas is upping its quenched-and-tempered plate base prices by $60/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The increase is effective for all non-contract orders slated to ship the week of 2 July. Additional surcharges will continue to apply.
SSAB notes that it reserves the right to requote any as-yet unconfirmed orders.
Kallanish currently puts plain discrete plate at $730-750/st.
