SSAB pushes US flats up $40/short ton
SSAB has announced an across-the-board flat-rolled increase of $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The increase is effective with shipments beginning 1 October on as-rolled mill plate, discrete plate, quench-and-tempered plate and hot-rolled coil.
All applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
“We also reserve the right to re-quote any open offers that are not confirmed with an SSAB order acknowledgement,” the company says…
