SSAB increased US shipments by 9%

Steel producer SSAB reports a strong start to 2023 in the Americas in its interim report, noting that it increased its shipments 9% compared to Q1 2022, Kallanish learns. The company’s US operations shipped 476,000 tonnes during the quarter. While operating capital decreased due to lower prices, the company managed to increase its revenue 3%.
