SSAB finalises Nordic workforce reductions
Sweden’s SSAB tells Kallanish that it has now concluded negotiations to reduce the workforce in its Nordic operations.
The steelmaker began the exercise in February with a target of reducing its headcount in Scandinavia by a maximum of 465 employees. All negotiations in this respect have now been concluded, SSAB says.
