SSAB echoes Nucor plate increase
Steelmaker SSAB has followed Nucor’s plate price increase of $30/short ton, Kallanish learns from a customer letter.
The increase is effective immediately on all new or unconfirmed orders, the company says.
“SSAB continues to monitor market conditions in order to better realise the value our products bring to our customers,” the letter states.
Kallanish currently puts plate at $480-500/st, up from last week’s $460-480/st. All prices…
