SSAB confirms Ruukki Construction layoffs
Sweden’s SSAB tells Kallanish that it has completed negotiations over proposed job cuts with its workforce at Ruukki Construction in Finland.
A total of 61 jobs will be lost as a result of the negotiations, the steelmaker says. Employer-employee negotiations initiated at the same time at SSAB Europe’s production site in Raahe, Finland are still ongoing.
