SSAB Americas anticipates lower shipments in Q3
Higher steel pricing boosted US plate producer SSAB Americas' earnings higher during the second quarter, leading to record profitability for the Swedish-based group, Kallanish learns from the company's interim report. SSAB Americas' shipments fell by 18,000 tonnes in an on-year comparison during the second quarter of this year, but higher selling prices contributed to profits rising by $1.08 million.
