Spindo targets 20% sales hike
Steel Pipe of Indonesia (Spindo) says it expects its sales volumes to increase by around 20% in 2019. The company sources its feed material primarily from Krakatau Steel and Japan, Kallanish notes.
Spindo has a capacity of 588,000 tonnes/year of welded pipes and it says it is targeting capacity utilisation of around 65-70%. That would imply production volumes of 382,000-412,000 tonnes. It has not released its production and sales data for 2018, but if that is a …
