Spanish scrap prices rise in lead-up to Christmas
The Spanish scrap prices continue to rise in December. The market has recovered most of the fall for E8 grade material seen in the last 3 months and is returning to September levels, Kallanish learns from market sources.
The increase was by around €15/tonne ($16.61/t) since the beginning of December on the back of the recovery seen in Turkey.
